Hunger is an ongoing issue around the world. Hunger effects the body is so many ways.
- Hunger can cause anxiety, depression and stress which impairs perception
- Hunger makes it difficult to problem solve or make decisions.
- Hunger makes it difficult to concentrate and perform complex cognitive tasks
- Hungers makes it difficult to focus and learn
With rising cost and inflation, more families are finding it difficult to afford the basic needs of buying food. The Food Bank Ministry of MPBC Empowering ministries, provide 50 meals per month on a first come serve basis to anyone in the community.
The Food Bank ministry partners with Harvest Hope Food Bank of the Midlands. The ministry is supported by monetary and food donations which in turn is distributed to those in need. The food give away is the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10A-12N.
