About Us

The Mt Pilgrim Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization established on February 13, 2001 to extend outreach efforts to the Greater Midland’s community including Eastover, Lugoff, Elgin, Camden and the surrounding community. Recognizing a spiritual mandate to improve the community, the members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Lugoff, South Carolina (Richland County) authorized an initial $1000 endowment to establish the Foundation.

The Mt Pilgrim Foundation managed by the Governing Body and Board of Directors, is incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt entity and registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State. All programs and services of the Mt. Pilgrim Foundation are supported by contributions from local businesses, corporations, foundations, and individuals. Our programs are open and available to the public. The Mt. Pilgrim Foundation office is located at 1341 McCords Ferry Road, Lugoff, South Carolina 29078.

Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the Mt. Pilgrim Foundation is to improve the lives of people by developing and promoting efforts to enhance their spiritual, educational, physical, social, and economic well-being.
